Description

Armor Blasting Sim Review

Tank sims live or die on how heavy the machine actually feels, and this one leans hard into that weight. You're rolling a treaded war machine across open battlegrounds, picking off enemy armor before they line up a shot on you first. Built in Unity3D and running straight in the browser via WebGL, there's no install fuss, just point, click, and you're already rumbling toward the front line. The pacing sits somewhere between arcade shooter and slower, deliberate combat sim, which honestly suits the subject matter better than a twitch shooter ever could.

Control Scheme

  • WASD or the arrow keys handle driving, and the turning radius takes some getting used to.
  • Mouse movement swings your view and aim around independently from the hull direction.
  • Left mouse button fires the main cannon, so timing matters more than mashing.
  • C swaps the camera angle, handy for lining up shots or just checking your flank.
  • Tab pulls up the menu if you need to pause and reassess the battlefield.

Pro-Level Advice

  • Rotate the hull before the turret whenever possible; it saves precious seconds when an enemy tank appears at an angle.
  • Switch camera views often. The default angle looks nice, but it hides blind spots that get you shredded.
  • Don't rush open ground. Tanks aren't nimble, and a shell to the side plate ends things fast.
  • Lead your shots against moving targets since the cannon rounds aren't instant, and impatience wastes ammo.
  • Use terrain and wreckage for cover between engagements. Standing still in the open is basically an invitation.
  • Keep half an eye on your surroundings even mid-fight. Enemy squads rarely attack one at a time.
